MADISON SCOUTS ALUMNI PROJECT PART 1
Wish that I was there.
6:00
Awesome. Old guys still have massive chops!!!!!
Whoever coordinated this show is a genius! Go Madison!
Is the low brass solo in malaquena a euph bugle and a bari or 2 baris?
Class! And who's the bald headed fella on the contra..... Oh its me! 😆
I cry every time I watch this. Brings back so many memories. Love the Scouts
@3:56 stick flip, stage right snare
that is 100% pure drum corps not what it is now. that was outstanding and what it should still be.. no disrespect but i wish it would go back to what is used to be . Madison Scouts nailed it again
I'd completely forgotten about this!
Almost cried. So crisp, proud, happy to be old guys doing their thing. loved the Honor Guard video. USA.
Love the uniforms. Love everything about older Madison.
Love these guys….
One of the 4 upper-lead Baris here, by far the most enjoyable book I played with the Corps. Fun show.
This is outstanding!!! Thanks for sharing it !!!
No marching band cheese....
Goes to show how much stuff they add in during the season towards the end. I don't know at what point in the season this was but there were so many lines missing compared to at finals. The trill in the brass at 4:59 isn't there yet, so many things at the very end of the show like the super exposed attacks in the brass, all not there yet and I think they made the show sooooo much better in the end.
Tell me, what other corps could put out the call, have 225 people show up, have 60 hours of rehearsal and put on a show like this? The answer is NOBODY! This display shows you the breadth and depth of the Madison influence, and only the people who were exposed to the drum corps activity can understand.
I could watch this every day
I do watch it every day. Sometimes more than once
There is nothing better than old school Madison!!!!!!!!
Excellent(•‿•)
The Bluecoats, wearing … blue coats. Imagine that.
Happy days ✌️😎
This may be one of the most changed shows from beginning to end of season that I’ve found.
The 3rd Coast. If you know, ya know.
Love, Love , love you guys. Super job.
For many of them this was probably one of the best days of their lives. They should be so proud. Great job guys.
It was great getting back on the field. So glad I was part of the project.
Never fails to amaze and move me to tears. So happy I witnessed this in person.
9:01 TIMBALE SOLOOOOOO!!!!!! YES! hahaha I effing LOVE CORPS!!!!
They have truly transfooormed!!
This looks great! That takedown at 00:53 is so amazing!! When this will be out?
should be out in the new year look out for new trailer coming soon
@@scott72uk nice, thanks for the info!
Looking forward to seeing this 👍
I first saw this performance on my local PBS station one thanksgiving. I was flipping out because I’d been in Canton Ohio visiting family that summer! And I’d attended their Go Cart Derby fund raiser. I love how they have they always maintain the sonic energy of their horn line from season to season. BLUUUUUUUUE!!!!!!!💙💙💙💙💙
Oh MAN! That was AMAZING!!!!!
Condenser mic. 😔😔😔😔😔
Thank you for this. Music stays with us for our lifetime; transcending age. It's in your soul. Watching these guys, you can see the precision. The Sound: amazing. The color guard:flawless. Brought tears.
Mr cuddiford lol
Am I the only one here after watching Bluecoats Alumni so I can compare?
Am I the only one who came here after watching Bluecoats Alumni just to compare?
8th place that night!
The Madison Scouts Alumni Corps members had to be dedicated to practice their butts off and put on a Class "A" show like this. The RoyalAirs Alumni Corps did the same thing. There are still a number of alumni corps that are out there. The Hawthorne Caballeros Alumni may be the largest and most consistent, although there are a number of other great corps doing the best to entertain and bring us back to a vey special age of our great hobby.
Ang beite o kumpas o tiyempo ay 3/4 and 2/4ht ang gamit ni bandmuster
Kung talagang miembro ka ng dbc anong kumpas o tiyempo o norte ang tugtog na ito

Watched many times. You can’t beat it. People post videos stating loudest crowd reactions etc. no need. Just watch this.
That was awesome. I wish I could have seen it live so I could have seen the entire corps the whole performance. Thanks for posting.
6:22
poor euphs having to hold their instrument up for 12 mins straight
8:07 still one of my favorites after all these years.
I’m the little soprano player that rises up on my tiptoes when Dave Brown “measures me up” 😅 (just after 8:07 during the sop feature)
Say what you will about today's drum corps, but this era of DCI was lacking in its own ways too. Visual technique is basically non-existent here. Tempos are VERY slow compared to today's DCI. And the visual demands you see today aren't present here either. That being said this is a pretty clean show and the brass sounds great. Change is not always bad, and its not always good either. But change is destined to happen with or without you
Today DCI should just drop DCI from their name. It's no longer drum corp.
Shows of that era are much more visually appealing than the cheese on the field now. As for tempos...it's not a race. I watch a few shows a year these days and am always disappointed with the shows.
How am I just experiencing this show in 2022? Amazing…
